Leads When You Know No One
You Know No One--Is that you? You have no idea where to go for a booking? You've used up all friends and family? That was me when I started. Most of my family didn't wear makeup. My mother-in-law said she was allergic (found out years later she'd never tried it before!), and I only knew 2 women in Denver where I lived at the time I started. I had to learn to warm chatter and use things like fish bowls. Scared? Spitless! But I wanted it! I knew I wasn't stupid. I knew I could overcome the fear with practice. I knew that fear or rejection wouldn't kill me. So, I risked the rejection to try. And it paid off!
