Contact List
Use the Contact List to write down the names and phone numbers of everyone you know who has skin! You'll use this list for booking your Pefect Start.

Book your Perfect Start
Schedule your Perfect Start. Plan to do your Perfect Start to be held within two to three weeks of receiving your starter kit. Contact your director and recruiter with the dates you have chosen for your two weeks of Perfect Start. While waiting for your Starter Kit, contact your recruiter or director to arrange observations.  Observing three classes being held will teach you all you need to know to get started holding your own appointments!

When you have booked your first eight classes for your Perfect Start, you earn the Mary Kay money bag!  Let me know you are a winner by entering your info on the prize voucher found here.

On The Go's New Consultant Contest
Sell $200 and hold 3 "On The Go" Appointments in 10 days and earn the a special prize from me!  Fill out the prize voucher to collect!!

You can start taking orders IMMEDIATELY... even before your Go Kit arrives! Our Hostesses do it every day and often get $100-$200 in outside orders for their classes ... why not do it as a new Consultant? Hold "On the Go" appointments with your inventory or your recruiter can help if she's able. Collect the money (don't forget the tax!) and start earning profits immediately while you are booking your PERFECT START!


Perfect Start and Power Start
It's a tradition in our Unit to earn the PS pin. Here's how!  Earn them both! The Perfect Start pin is plain gold and the Power Start pin has sparkly crystals on it!

Schedule and hold 5 classes (or do 15 faces) within a two week period to earn the Perfect Start pin.
Schedule and hold 10 classes (or do 30 faces) within a month to earn the Power Start pin.

Pearls of Sharing
In your first month:  (can be completed even before your starter kit arrives)
To Earn the Pearls of Sharing Earrings
You will set up appointments with three of your friends, family, new clients, etc, to hear the marketing plan. These will be done with your Director, either in person, or by 3-way calling, so you can learn how we share the company facts and benefits.
Call me to discuss your list of people and to make convenient arrangements for the appointments.
Your people need to be at least 18 years of age.
To Earn the Pearls of Sharing Bracelet
To earn the matching bracelet, complete your second set of 3 appointments sharing the Mary Kay marketing information
Your director will be happy to help you with this group, too, or you can try it yourself, doing it the same way you learned during the first three.
To Earn the Pearls of Sharing Necklace
Add your first Team Member to your team in your very first month and earn the beautiful Pearls of Sharing necklace.

Consultants Guide
One of your first goals is to read the Consultants Guide and listen to the audio CDs that come in the Starter Kit. These booklets and audio CDs give you a starting point for your new business. You'll learn everything that is essential in this business!  Materials were written with the help of the best Mary Kay sales directors and consultants.

Please read the Donna's Dynasty New Consultant notebook that I will send you in the mail.  It has 8 sections of pertinent information at your fingertips.

Another great resource is found on Intouch.  It's called Learn MK found under the Education link.  Check it out on a regular basis for information to help you succeed.

Sales Meetings
I've always found that Sales Meetings are the best resource for learning and motivation. I'd be more than happy to share with you the times and places of my own sales meetings, but if you don't live in my area, I'd be happy to find you a sales meeting in your locale. If you want to be great, you'll attend sales meetings as often as you can!

Beauty Bash Book
Make your Beauty Bash Book right away!  It is a great tool to show to customers and to use at facials.

Flip Chart Practice
Normally, I follow everything the company does, but I prefer my words to say at a class or facial over the wording on the flip chart that comes in your Starter Kit.  Here are my Flip Chart changes.  Print these out and tape them over the words in the flip chart.
