Satin Facials
Begin with clean skin by using the PERSONAL BEAUTY PROFILE skin care cleanser recommendation (do not use the Satin Facial as a method for cleansing the skin).
Place multiple wash cloths into a crockpot of warming water.
Step One
Customer applys a generous amount of the Indulge Soothing Eye Mask to the entire eye area, using a gentle stippling/patting method.
Step Two
Using a generous amount of the Extra Emollient Night Cream for Normal/Dry Skin Types, or Oil Free Hydrating Gel for Combination/Oily Skin Types, she gently messages over the entire face and neck including the lips. Avoid the eye area.
Step Three
Have her dampen fingertips. Apply Satin Lips Mask onto the lip area. Gently massage the product onto the lips.
Step Four
Squeeze a generous dollop of either Moisture Mask or Revitalizing Mask (depending on skin type) onto her fingertips. Gently massage the masking product onto the face and neck. You want to create a paste of the mask and the moisturizer on the skin. Blend the products into one another by using a gentle circular motion. (NOTE; You are creating the same 'layered' paste effect for the face as you would create with Satin Hands). If product feels dry, dampen fingertips to create a slippery feel to avoid unnecessary pulling on the skin.
Step Five
Using a generous dollop of the recommended Cleanser, and in a gentle circular motion, have her continue layering the products by gently massaging the Cleanser over the entire face and neck.
Step Six
Remove two wash cloths from warm water , wringing out excess and allowing to breathe and cool. Remember to check washcloth heat, dabbing onto the underside of your wrist to ensure that the wash cloth is at a comfortable temperature.
Step Seven
Place one warm washcloth over the forehead and covering the eyes and onto the nose. Place the second washcloth under the nose and over the lips and onto neck. Allow your client to relax and breathe for approximately three minutes.
Step Eight
Using the cooled washcloths, proceed to gently remove the Satin Facial products. Wipe gently until no traces of the products remain. Have your client go to a sink and proceed to final rinse. Splash face with warm water insuring residue has been successfully removed.
Step Nine
Follow with either the Purifying Freshener, the Hydrating Freshener, or the Blemish Control Toner. Apply with a cotton pad, or (for fresheners only) fill a small sprizter bottle with freshener, have your client close her eyes and spray 6-8 inches away from her face.
Step Ten
Select the appropriate moisturizer for either daytime or nighttime and based on skin type, gently applying product over the entire face and neck in a circular motion. Apply Lip Balm to lip area.
