Contact your current customers and ask them if they'd like to participate in your "Sample of the Month Club." Explain what that means. (They'll receive a sample of one Mary Kay product each month and a "special offer.") Between the 1st and 5th of each month, mail or deliver to each participant: a product sample a copy of the product description, features/key ingredients, and benefits from the PRODUCTS section of your Career Essentials Guide an inspirational or motivational message piece of candy (like a "kiss"), (or whatever neat idea for something you can come up with...but keep it SIMPLE& VERY INEXPENSIVE) a Beauty Book with your name, phone, web page info, etc. an insert detailing the "offer of the month" (example: Purchase the Triple Action Lip Enhancer that you have sampled & you may purchase any lip color for 1/2 price) NOTE: The "special" should be offered only through the last day of THAT month. When they have had time to try the product, give them a call (tell them you'll be making "random" calls to see how people like the product). Ask how they liked it, and see if they'd like to place an order. Deliver orders!   You could also offer this "service" to non-customers (who don't already have a MK consultant, of course). Perhaps an office full of ladies would like to be "club members!" Director Misty Kenner, who shared this idea with us, has "club members" giving her the names and phone numbers of their friends who also would like to participate. And, if she's running a little late in getting the samples out, she has had "club members" call her to find out where their sample is! HOW TO GET STARTED...
