After playing the referral game at your parties, this is a text you can use that has proven successful to others.
First text:
Hi Jill! This is Donna Bayes Scott. Susie Smith gave me your name. I have a favor to ask you...
(wait for response after you send it):
Second text:
She is helping me with a Mary Kay contest. I am trying to win a trip to New York to see Wicked with my husband. I have to do 50 free facials a month to win that. I am running out of people I know, so she is helping me call complete strangers, lol! She thought you might be adventurous enough to lend me your face and you get $10 in free product. Can you help me out?
Your goal--you may not be going to NY, but you do have a goal if you think about it. What are you trying to earn money for? That's why we are doing parties. Enroll your customers into your goal and you'll see how successful that is!
