Advanced Glamour School
by Donna Bayes
I have finally hit upon something that the consultants love, guests are eager to attend, and I'm excited about! A nice combination! Guests have willingly come to all the sessions.
Advanced Glamour School is a 4-week advanced glamour training for consultants and customers. I want all consultants to go through this school once or twice to learn product knowledge and how to hold a class, plus the advanced glamour skills to be a confident consultant. Consultants can maximize their time by inviting guests to receive this training at the same time. The guests are exposed to all the products in the Beauty Book Class plus learn advanced glamour skills, so that they either become great customers or trained new consultants. I consider this a "basic" training for new consultants (or those personal use consultants who need glamour training), so I am detailed even down to how to fill the trays on the first night. (I've learned the hard way that it is so much easier to go through the class when every cosultant has filled her tray the very same way!) I feel that when I consultant has finished this 4-week class, she will feel like she can go out and give a good facial or class. And, as an added bonus, the guest who went through it is also trained, ready to become a good consultant.
I've held five of these now, and the consultants who have brought 3-5 guests have sold an average of $1000 each. The average customer is purchasing $250-$300 during the four weeks. We are demonstrating a minimum $437 worth of product with only one set of eye colors and not including the roll-up value.
The classes begin at 7 pm and are over by 8:30. Consultants bring a tray set-up for themselves and their guests. I am prepared to supply samples that they may not have.
I provide each participant with a folder with the materials we will be using during the class, plus I include other things that will support the consultant's business, such as the Mascara Club.
Click here for a list that tells consultants what they need to bring to each class.
Having worked with the Glamour School several times, I have decided that I would switch Class 2 and 3. More attention on eyes, which is what everyone wants help with. They would get to practice eyes 3 weeks, rather than just two.
